1. Where can I purchase your products?
All major retailers will have Southern Patio items. For a complete list please contact our customer service department at 1-800-729-5033.
2. Where can I register?
We do not register our product any more. Please keep all documents and receipt. These will be needed if there is a warranty concern later on.
3. How do I find my item number?
Item numbers can be found on the instructions included with the packaging of the item. You can also provide a retailer SKU number and most all offset umbrellas after 2001 have a brass plate just below the crank on the main pole with the item number. You can use UPC code from the carton too.
4. What is the warranty?
This product is covered under a manufacturer's 90-day warranty from date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover damage due to neglect, abuse or weather related damage. Look for the full warranty disclosure on our website.
5. Can I order replacement parts?
Yes, you can order replacement parts for your umbrellas and fountains. Please have your item number available when contacting our Customer Service representatives. See question 3 on how to find your item number.
6. Where can I find instructions for my product?
Go to the main page of the website, click on 'product support' under the customer service drop down to find your instructions. If your instructions are not listed please call our Customer Service department for further information. Instructions are also included in the carton with your product.
7. Can I order online?
Online ordering is not available at this time. While we appreciate this request and are working towards that goal, we do not currently have this capability. If you have any questions regarding your order, please send an email to our Customer Service department or call us (1-800-729-5033).
8. Can I track my order?

9. Can I wash my canopy?
Simply clean the umbrella with a soft brush and mild detergent. DO NOT machine wash or dry. DO NOT iron. AIR DRY the canopy fully open thoroughly before storing for extended periods of time.
10. How do I tilt my umbrella?
At different times of the day you may need to adjust the canopy's angle to shade you from the different directions of the sunlight. Crank umbrella to just below the first hole in the main pole, place the stop pin with the chain just above the slide collar, turn the crank handle to get the desired angle of the canopy. Repeat the same process with the upper two holes on the main pole. Also watch the umbrella demonstration video under the Customer Service drop down.
11. How do I rotate my umbrella?
When you place your umbrella into your holder pole, tighten the two screws (control knobs) to stabilize the umbrella. To rotate the umbrella loosen the two screws (control knobs), turn the umbrella to the desired position and re-tighten the screws (control knobs) to stabilize. 12. Can I buy a cover for my umbrella?
We do have a cover that will protect your umbrella from the elements. The covers are available in plastic and fabric. You can call our Customer Service department at 1-800-729-5033 to place an order.
13. Do you offer replacement canopies in different colors?
Yes, our canopies come in several different colors. Please call our Customer Service Department at
(1-800-729-5033) as colors will vary depending on the style of your umbrella. Please have your umbrella number (UMB-XXXXXX) ready when you call. See question 3.
14. How much soil do I put in my planter?

15. How do I drill holes in my planter?

16. When will saucers be available to go with my planters?
We currently do not sell saucers for the planters.
17. Why are some parts not replaceable on my fountain?
Each fountain is handcrafted causing parts to not be interchangeable.
18. Are replacement parts available for my products?
Not all parts are replaceable for all items. Please contact customer service for more information on your specific product at 800-729-5033.
19. How do I winterize my planters? My fountains? My Umbrellas?
Polyurethane (Foam), (PU):
a.) Empty of as much water as possible. If empty, turn upside down, if planted see below.
b.) at freezing (32ºF), bring in your planter, if planted.
Fiberglass:
a.) Empty of as much water as possible. If empty, turn upside down, if planted see below.
b.) wrap with bubble wrap, a tarp or burlap wrapped in plastic to keep planters from absorbing any more water.

HDR: This covers blow and injection)

Umbrellas:
Remove and cover the top portion of your umbrella. Store indoors, i.e. a basement, garage or storage building. If you have a water ballast base, either drain completely, remove and store indoors, or partially drain and add 1-2 capfuls of environmentally friendly antifreeze. Then cover with a tarp or heavy plastic bag.
If you have a market umbrella, remove from the stand, cover and store indoors like the offset listed above.
20. How do I retouch my planters? My fountains.
Fiberglass:
1.) Clean the area thoroughly with soap and water.
2.) Let the area dry completely.
3.) Take a scotchbrite pad and roughly ‘sand’ the affected area.
4.) Clean the area thoroughly with soap and water.
5.) Using an acrylic polyurethane primer, paint the area.
6.) Let the primer dry completely.
7.) Scotchbrite the primer.
8.) Wipe area clean with a damp cloth.
9.) Let area dry
10.) Paint area using an acrylic polyurethane paint.
11.) Let dry.
