RECIPE: Red, Blue, and Purple Container Garden

posted on by

An arrangement that incorporates related colors such as red and purple creates a visually soothing container garden.

When container gardening, be sure to choose flowers and plants that work well together.  In other words, make sure to incorporate shade-loving or sun-loving plants together.  Wherever your container garden is going to be located outside, that should determine what kinds of flowers and plants you should have.

This beautiful container garden was created using Southern Patio’s 14 inch Convex Bell in Turquoise.  The pink Dianthus flowers require at least 6 hours of sun, the beautiful red Geraniums in this pot need at least 6-8 hours of sunlight, and the Cordyline australis also needs full sun.
